White House State Dinner
US Event Structures had the distinct honor of providing the venue for the winter State Dinner for the Prime Minster of India Manmohan Singh. An 82 X 164 structure was installed on the South Lawn of the White House, creating an outdoor space for 350 VIP guests for the first official state dinner under the Obama Administration. Carpeted flooring, glass walls and a clear roof top helped to create the airy, garden-like atmosphere that the Obamas desired. Ancillary tents were erected for entertainment, restrooms, and catering areas as well as a covered walkway for guest to access the tent from the White House.
